You are cordially invited to participate in the 1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE URBAN DESIGN FOR LIVABLE CITIES (SUDLiC 2014), which will be held on 11-12 November 2014 at Menara Razak, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur. The conference is jointly organized by the UTM Razak School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, Construction Research Alliance and UTM SPACE with the theme of “Towards Building Greener Cities and Construction“.

This conference aims to improve understanding and research in the field of sustainable urban design and green building construction, as well as from other fields related. Hence, this conference will establish the superiority of UTM as a university that pioneered the field related to urban design and urban planning, sustainability, architecture and construction in Malaysia.

As an international platform for sharing the latest ideas and technology between industry and universities, this conference will gather invited distinguished speakers and prominence in the area. The conference will feature leading figures in various fields involving sustainable urban design and urban planning as well as green building construction. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings with ISBN and will have a chance to be published in Chapters in Book by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.

Kindly note that the following CPD points have been approved for this conference:

• Ten (10) CPD hours approved by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
• Three (3) CPD hours approved by Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM)
• Three (3) CPD hours approved by Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP)
• Six (6) CPD hours approved by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM)

Our normal registration fees are RM750 for professional and RM300 for student. Any organization that send five (5) or more participants, shall be eligible for early bird registration fees. On behalf of the organizers, we hope that you will consider joining us in attending this conference.
